Your ski holiday in the Dolomites – sun-kissed

One thing is clear as daylight: a skiing holiday in the Dolomites is always a very special experience. Carving down the perfectly groomed slopes in front of the pale mountains is one of the most captivating moments of a skiing holiday in the Dolomites. Near our hotel in Nova Ponente/Deutschnofen, there is a practice lift for beginners and two beautiful ski resorts: the Ski Center Latemar, to which the ski resorts Obereggen, Predazzo, and Pamageo have joined, and the Carezza-Karersee ski resort. Both ski resorts are part of Dolomiti Superski, the largest ski carousel in the Dolomites with 12 ski regions and 1,200 kilometres of slopes. An ingenious snow-making system helps Mother Nature, so that perfect conditions prevail here until the end of the skiing season – regardless of the bright sunshine. But don’t just let us tell you, see for yourself and spend your skiing holiday in the Dolomites!

Short and sweet: your ski holiday in the Dolomites

When you spend your skiing holiday in the Dolomites, you can take advantage of all the possibilities. Look forward to it:

Excitingly different – your ski holiday in Obereggen

Get up, have a hearty breakfast, grab your skis, and go! The free ski bus, which departs 200 metres in front of our hotel in Val d’Ega/Eggental, takes you directly to the valley station of Obereggen. This is where the fun on the slopes begins in one of the most popular ski areas in South Tyrol, the Ski Center Latemar/Obereggen, which is only 8 kilometres from our ski hotel in the Dolomites. A total of 18 ultra-modern lifts connect the three ski resorts Obereggen, Predazzo, and Pampeago. Surrounded by a dreamlike backdrop, 48 sunny kilometres of slopes await you, which fascinate skiers of all ages on their skiing holidays in the Dolomites.

While the youngsters can enjoy themselves in the Brunoland children’s park, in the Mini Club daycare centre, or in the kids’ snow park, the adults can ski down the perfectly groomed slopes in the Dolomites, including the 3.2-kilometre Tresca slope or the steep Pala di Santa/Zanggen slope. The Snow Park, the best snow park in Italy according to skiresort.de, will make the pulse of freestylers soar. Have you always wanted to ski under the stars? At the Ski Center Latemar, you have the opportunity to do so. Three times a week, between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., you can also go on the slopes at night.

Everything is nearby! Ski holidays at the Carezza-Karersee ski area

About 20 kilometres from our wellness hotel in Nova Ponente/Deutschnofen lies the Carezza-Karersee ski area, which is located directly at the foot of the Catinaccio/Rosengarten. A detour during your skiing holiday in the Dolomites is always worthwhile. 41 kilometres of slopes, 16 lifts, and a fantastic view of the legendary kingdom of King Laurin – all this and much more awaits you in this unique ski resort, which has made a name for itself especially with families. No wonder, the majority of the slopes are very easy and perfect for beginners. But don’t worry: beneath the imposing rock faces, there are also red and black slopes, which have it all.

The wide slopes with their slight inclination are ideal for beginners, but also for those who want to improve their carving style during their skiing holiday in the Dolomites. Try it out at the snow park with its three different Lines. If the kids no longer feel like skiing, then they are in good hands during their skiing holiday in the Dolomites in the three children’s areas. In the meantime, the parents can continue on and enjoy the spectacular scenery until the last rays of the sun transforms the rock formations of the Catinaccio/Rosengarten into various shades of red. You have to see it at least once.
